General
A steam power plant consists of boiler, a steam turbine, generator, and other auxiliaries. The boiler generates steam at high pressure, and high temperature. The steam turbine converts the heat energy into mechanical energy. Then, through proper integration of all parts and equipment’s altogether using USC technology, the engines then deliver highly efficient and environmentally friendly the Coal Fired Steam Power Plants (CFSPP).
Boiler
As One of the latest power plants using USC technology, The Jawa 9 & 10 Coal Field Steam Power Plant (CFSPP) will use special kind of boiler. The boiler is one of the parts differ the output in terms of efficiency and environmentally friendly, better than previous technology.
Conventional coal-fired power plants (Subcritical power plant), which make water boil to generate steam that activates a turbine, have efficiency of about 32%.
Supercritical (SC) and ultra-supercritical (USC) power plants operate at temperatures and pressures above the critical point of water, i.e. above the temperature and pressure at which the liquid and gas phases of water coexist in equilibrium, at which point there is no difference between water gas and liquid water. This results in higher efficiencies – above 43%* in subtropical countries. Meanwhile, in tropical countries likewise Indonesia and South East Asia countries, the efficiency usually above 41% for USC power plant.
Supercritical (SC) and Ultra Super Critical (USC) power plants require less coal per megawatt-hour, leading to lower emissions (including carbon dioxide and mercury), higher efficiency and lower fuel costs per megawatt. (https://www.greenfacts.org)

Steam Generator
One of the most important part of the power plant is the boiler (steam generator) which produces steam with very high temperature and very high pressures flows to rotate the steam turbine that drives the generator and produces electricity to the consumer.
Java 9-10 Boiler Technology (Manufacture : Doosan, Korea):
a. Boiler ultra-super critical (USC)
Live steam pressure at steam generator outlet > 25 Mpa
Live steam temperature at steam generator outlet: > 600 °C
Reheat steam temperature at steam generator outlet: > 610 °
b. Oxidation And Creep Resistant Tube Materials
c. Optimized Furnace and Heating surfaces
d. Fuel Flexibility
e. Optimized Coal Combustion
f. Low NOx front-rear burner
g. High Efficiency
h. Low Emission
